This Kodu.lab microsite is part of Loreto High School's wider Computer.lab initiative which has the aim of enabling pupils to become 'digital creators' rather than just 'digital consumers'. There is a strong emphasis on developing programming skills and concepts in a variety of text-based and graphical programming languages.

Kodu is a free graphical 3D games programming environment which runs on Windows-based PCs and the Xbox 360.  Pupils can quickly develop their own 3D games using a set of ready-made components to which they attach behaviours.
